Tom Greer has been a Twin Peaks local resident for over 30 years.
In the early 1960's Tom's parents brought a vacation home in Twin Peaks.Tom met Julie at Valley College and in 1978 got married. They had to make a decision on where to settle. Tom had always loved the mountains, so they decided to make Twin Peaks their permanent home. Here they raised two children, Amelia, and Duncan.
Julie had always loved daffodils and in 1999 with a neighbor planted several hundred. She had a dream of Twin Peaks filled with daffodils. So the next year she purchased 1,000 daffodils and roped Tom into helping her plant. In July 2001 breast cancer took her life. Upon her death Tom received money from neighbors and friends to keep the project alive. Tom says the whole project is really about making Twin Peaks beautiful that's what Julie wanted. Since Julies death there have been 58,000 daffodils planted in Twin Peaks. Tom married Tricia Aguilar 2004 and together with the help of neighbors are keeping the dream alive.
